Announcements

Cheer up Parker, it’s National Library Week and we’re working on getting a few more exciting announcements ready before this week is over.  There’s a few more raffle prizes that people have generously offered, a few confirmed drink specials that we’re able to announce, and a finalized map with approximated times of arrival for each bar.

Be sure to tell your friends about all the exciting news that is on its way!  Also, remember to register online to receive a $20 gift certificate to the fantastic restaurant, Branch 27.  These are limited and they’re going fast!

Have You Heard?

Hey, look what we stumbled upon today: CBS Chicago Local Events – We’re pretty sure it’s a random mention that grabs local events off the Internet, and not Bill Kurtis’s personal favorites, but we were still pretty excited. If you see The Librarian Pub Crawl mentioned on a blog or website, please let us know. Going into our third year, we’re still not sure how big this will become, but we love knowing that we’re spreading the love of libraries!

3rd Annual Pub Crawl Date Announced!

The 3rd annual Librarian Pub Crawl will be on Saturday, May 26, 2012.  A few of the bars will remain the same, but we’ll change one or two as well.  Along with the trophies for Best Literary Costume and Best Librarian Costume, we’re also adding a prize for the person who travels the farthest to participate!

We’re in the early planning stages now, so we’ll have a lot more information in the next couple months.  In the meantime, follow us on Facebook and Twitter (@020_92pubcrawl)and be sure to support your local library!
